I have run thousands of miles throughout my career, switching from various brands and models frequently, however, I can say with confidence that the Nike Invincible Run is the BEST trainer I have ever used. The supportive ZoomX midsole conforms to most foot types well and features a forgiving 36mm stack height heel that takes the brunt of forces on pavement and light trails with ease.
The shoe sets itself apart from competitors as Nike’s ZoomX technology provides the best possible energy return in any trainer on the market currently. Throughout the first 100-200 miles, the ‘pop’ is noticeable in every step and seems to effortlessly float through each stride. My favorite aspect of the trainer is the longevity, and while the return is most felt within 200 miles, the shoe seems to never give up.
I have well over 500 miles on my pair and while I would not recommend using any shoe beyond that mark for injury prevention purposes, this trainer seems to take the beating and just keep getting back up for more. In terms of ‘bang for your buck’, the Nike ZoomX Invincible Run Flyknit stands alone.
